Sure. You could supercharge a hairdryer, if you wanted to.

Should you? no.

Will it benefit anything? No.

Will it potentially destroy the engine? Yep.

But whether you CAN, or not.sure, you can.

Fine fine car, but no, there r no supercharger installations available.

But there r still substantial engine enhancements that can be made to ur engine, by way of performance intake, exhaust, headers, heads, & a fresh tune with a performance chip.

All of these installations would come in at less than the cost of a forced induction system, & overall provide a HP gain of better than 30% over stock rated power.

l think, frankly most of the 77 is that feature big power (supercharged/stroker engines) r swaps. The engine compartment is quite large & with its rigid chassis it is a good candidate for a swap right up to American v-8.

Simple answer: Yes.

That being said, there r no new kits that l know of, so it will be custom & expensive unless u scrounge up an old kit. The main reason the L28 inline six is not supercharged all too often is that the 280ZX turbo had essentially same block, meaning that u can swap in a whole turbocharged engine, or use parts to turbo another L28. Also, domestic V8s fit easily in 280Zs, which is another possibility for you.

Note that u want lower boost if u fit 280ZX turbo parts on a factory non-turbo engine. Turbo engines have compression ratios, etc. specifically for turbocharging. As such, a whole-engine swap is better unless you're doing a full rebuild to an existing L28.
