Hello, l have an unusuall problem with my vehicle. If any one has the same vehicle, including the specs...with the same symptoms, l would appreciate the help.

Currently when l start my vehicle and it is on natural idle...(meaning no gas is pressed and its reving on roughly on 800rpm (less that 1*1000))...it stays on for rougly about 1 min, it will start jerking, trying to keep itself on, eventually switching off. The symptom varys, at times it will jerk and keep it self on...but mostly switching off...
l had it diagnosed....and also had a full service, changing all filters, including fuel filter. l also had the trottle body opened and cleaned. after all that, the problem still persists. Reports at the diagnostics had came up with a Transmission error, which l had checked and it is fine, even when driving. Lambda sensor over heating 2, l dont know what the 2 is...but l also had that changed, where the problem was before l changed it. At the MOT, my cars natural idle test had failed to excessive emissions by 3 times more....which makes sense as it burns more fuel that average. roughly 18 mpg...thats also what the onboard computer reads...£10 = around 36-40miles combined....which is seriously not right....can you pls tell me what reading you get for your car on your on board computer...

Has it had the crankshaft position sensor replaced? There was a manufacturer is recall to do so as the original one can fail causing stalling faults.

l could be the idle air control valve(iac) . l dont have that car but on my maxima had the same problem. have the iac checked out.good luck
