Does anyone know exactly what the fuel requirements are for the 2009 Nissan Murano? I've seen conflicting reports between regular and premium and wanted to find out what the definitive answer will be for the vehicle.

Premium.
The Murano and Maxima have used the 3.5 v6 for many years. It was designed for premium and needs premium. Its a great engine and has won awards for many years straight. l have no doubt that Nissan will not alter this. Bank on premium.

It says it on the gas cap.
It should be Premium.
Most 6 cylinder cars require premium.
All powerful 4 cylinder cars require premium gas.

l have a 2005 and the owners manual says regular, and on the gas lid it says premium for max. preformance so you can use any
the other people sayin it needs premium are idiots

l have 4 nissan cars go with premium or you can try plus also
but not from non brand gas stations

you can use regular but the noise (pinging) coming from the engine will not be pleasant. at least midgrade is recommended but premium if you can afford it :)
