Yesterday my engine stalled, and then had issues restarting.Finally started, but the tach was not working.It is still having issues starting.This happened two years ago and the mechanic said it was throwing a crank case code, but they did not see any perfomance issues.They reset the code, and we had no issues until now.Any advise on how to proceed?

Crank shaft posistion sensor is located between the engine and transmission front lower and held in place with one gold colored 10mm bolt. There is a half round rubber gasket in the hole. Get the Code retested (many auto parts stores check them for free) to be sure write down the code numbers and if possable freeze frame data. ASK away l can help direct you to the correct repair.
