I am looking to purchase a used 2004 Pathfinder, and saw soemthing about premium gas? Is this true?

l have a 2000 Pathfinder and l use regular in mine, l mean its cheaper and it runs just as good as it did when l put premium in it.

the 2004 pathfinder has a 3.5 liter v6, and the 2000 (no offense) has a totally different engine (the 3.3 liter v6). the 3.5 takes premium but you can put midgrade in it and it will run just as good, but if you put regular in it the valves will clatter like crazy. the 2000 3.3L can run on regular just fine though. hope this helps
