l am new to the whole modding thing, and l know that a 240sx is awesome with a SR20DET motor swap.

What is better, an SR20DET swap or a stock 89 240sx with a turbo?

Ummm, l know we are only talking about 0.4 liters but if you put an identical turbo set up on a SR and a KA the KA will make more torque.

Be a real man and drop in LS1 into that thing and pick up 300hp stock! Be a baller dude.

The sr20det is the most common one I've seen. Just look on Ebay, everyone selling thier highly modified 240sx is using a modified sr20det engine, and some are putting out over 350 HP.

l think the answer would b to run the ka24e to the ground & buy the sr20det & get it tuned but if u r going the front clip route of getting it, l sugest u save another 100 to 300 bux & buy the rb20det or the rb25det from the skyline . not only will u get 2 more pistons they come with the best blocks & tranys u can get

i currently have a 240sx as well 1990 se version & am seriously looking to purchase rb25

the only resion 2 make a boosted ka is becuse the engine is an iron block but u will get more power & torque from the sr20det
