l got this offer for a Nissan sentra 2008 model for $500.00 dollars down and less than $300.00 dollars a month what do you think l do not wanna be taken advantage of because I am a girl... Please help thank you..

if you do not know that much about cars, the dealer WILL try and take your finances for a ride and get what they can out of you. And l dont really suggest the 08 Sentra anyways. Look into the Civic. You can get a good deal on one.

since u do not know about cars that much here is a brief description about 3 cars u might consider:

Toyota Corolla: cheap, excellent gas mileage, sort of roomy, lacks on power a bit. (08 does, 09 good). (Rated 6th in most fuel efficient car in America.) (Hp. (2008): 132) (Hp. (2009): 132-165)

Honda Civic: fast, sort of expensive to buy, great with power, roomy, nice interior. (Rated 8th in the most fuel efficient car in America) Hp. 140

Nissan Sentra very fast for a small car, expensive to buy, very good with power, good interior. (Rated 13th in the most fuel efficient car in America) Hp. 165

You can upgrade ur model to get better Horsepower & more things into ur car. You decide which is better for you.

One more thing, do not pay monthly for ur car, pay it all because they have a hidden cost dealers do not tell u about, so if ur going to pay up to $17000, u will most likely pay up to $19500. This is not a bad deal but I'd rather rethink about what you're doing by paying monthly & the car you're thinking to buy.

Never go by the monthly payment . it is an old scam to get you to pay more money . Always go by the total cost of the car . Also l prefer Toyota over Nissan since Nissan is building cars with Ford now . l got a Matrix and love it .
