my 95 maxima is A/C is not blowing a cold air, is it any way l can refill it myself? any helpful tips? Thanks

go to your local auto parts store and get the R-134 can. hooks right up to your AC system

l do not think you can, l do not think you can buy freon, check at like an Auto Zone

l think its actually called refrigerant, although it may be exactly the same thing. Go to ur local Autozone / Pepboys etc. & pick up the R-134 can. l do not believe u can find the other kind anymore since it produced too much pollution back in the day, so the R-134 is probably the only kind u can find. Be sure to get one with a gauge so u can know how much u r putting in. l think the amount will be in ur owner is manual, if not, l am sure somebody here can help u find out what the amount is. =)

yes u can fill it yourself, but u need to ask yourself ''Why''. why does ur system need a refill? is it leaking?
have a reputable shop put it under vacuum (25-30 in hg) & make sure it holds it for 30 minutes. if it does then the system is not leaking fast enough to lose the 134a that fast & u can refill it & probably be good to go for this year. If it does not hold the vacuum then u have a leak that needs to be taken care of BEFORE u waste money filling a bad system.

Go to Walmart and buy a can of R-134A with the hose attached to it turn on the car and the a/c on high attach the hose to the low pressure side and follow the instruction on the can. You may need 2 or three cans but much less than having a shop do it.
