u know how there are 4 types of gasoline, the cheapest one, middle and third most expensive, and then the other one for trucks or whatever, which one do l use?

87,89,93 or diesel fuel.. most likely you can use 87.if u read the owner manual it will tell you which is better.it will run on any gasoline though but the higher the octane rating is the better for performance

The gas cap body cover will say Premium if it needs the expensive stuff (as a reminder when you get gas). You have a high performance engine. You will most likely need 92 octane (premium).

Premium. The engine has a high compression rate and the top grade fuel is needed for the performance. And the gas mileage is not the greatest. Not an everyday driver. But fast!

It uses Premium gas.
That is 91 octane and above.

It cannot use any lower.
My friend has a 350z. He tried a lower, cheaper grade of gas.
And the engine started knocking and it eventually seized. He had to get the system flushed and cleaned.

It also sayd the type of gas to use on the gas cap or in the gas door.
