l just bought a 07 Maxima 3.5L V6 and l found that it guzzles the same amount of gas then the 2003 Jeep Cherokee which l just sold and it had a 4.6L V8 Engine. Anyone else experiencing this?

Its a V6..not many of them get better than 23 mpg. All the cars with 28 mpg or higher are 4 cyl or hybirds

l would not expect to get more than 26mpg out of a VQ35DE unless it was driven like an absolute granny. Though I'd still expect at least 2-6mpg more than a Jeep with a V8.

With the performance of a V6 you can not expect to save as much gas as a 4 cyllinder.
