thinking of buying a skyline but wot do l look for ?

Unless your in Japan.look for a US Nissan 240sx to convert into a skyline. Must look for body kit, engine, parts, etc. Pretty expensive but worth the time. OR simply import one but its also pricey!

Which version r u looking at getting the R31 R32 Spec 2 R33 R33 Spec2 models also the gts or the gts-t.

All r great cars & differ in performance to to all having different engines

Modding wise plenty can be done to all the models & with many owners around the world sharing info on the forums there r some handy tips & also with so many aftermarket parts for these cars u can some add more bhp & change the style to many different looks.

The non turbo models give u the skyline look & some good bhp figures with cheaper insurance also a lot greater mpg.

The GTS-T version r quicker due to having a single turbo although a mod which can be done to a non turbo.The cars r very tuneable & able to reach scary bhp figures.

The R32 is lighter & great sideways fun around corners & a def great town driver & loves the open road.

The R33 feels heavier but is still good fun & sticks to the road great town driving but loves bigger roads best when the power can open up.

The GTS GTS-T versions offer a great version of the Skyline range & offer a third rear seat against the 4 seater GTR models.Also but space is great on both versions & allows the car to be used as a daily drivers car with school runs shopping runs & racing runs.

These cars r good fun myself iam on my second auto skyline which again although people say its an auto,but a sports auto is nothing like a normal auto the box is responsive to the pedal just a touch & the power is away,also with the aid of a rev hold button a power button to allow redline revs & also overdrive all this with the RWD action adds to great fun .

Look for a different car, Skylines are too easy to get in trouble with around cops.

300ZXs are in my opinion the US alternative to the Skyline and it is my belief that they have more potential.
