I've been thinking about looking at this used Nissan Sentra car. l was wondering if anybody has had any major problems with them before?

Hondas, Toyotas, Nissans are some of the best affordable cars on the road. I'd definitely look at it.

Yea Nissan is are great cars. One of the most desirable car in the WORLD is a Nissan Skyline R34.

All Depends what you want Perfomance or Economy l had a 200sx Great car to drive -motor blu-up at 120.000k l put another motor in it-not reconditioned though; l intended to sell it but didnt and the motor went at about the same mileage something about the oil circulation l am going for a Toyota this time

Of course they are. l want a Nissan myself. My dad owned an older Quest (before they redesigned), and it was dependable until l ran it into a telephone pole. But now we own an updated 2007 Quest. My brother also owns a 2004 Maxima, which, l think, is a really good looking car. My friend owns a 1997 Maxima, and the only problem with that has been the battery dying on us. l want an 07 or 08 Altima.

But yes, very dependable cars.

l have a 2005 Sentra, and l like it. Its not the fastest car in the world, but it gets me from point a to point b. l have not had any problems so far with it.

My farther in law gave us our first Nissan years ago since then we have stuck with them and we are on our 5th and they are great cars and never let us down as yet and we took one on a 2000 mile road trip and had very few short stops and the car kept going and going we was very impressed.Also the first Nissan we had had 250000 miles on the clock and when we sold it it still ran like new.

There is no American, German, British, or Korean, or Italian car that is more reliable than any of the Japanese brands.

Nissans r great cars. If u r looking at getting a Sentra, l would push u toward a 2007 or 2008. The CVT transmission that they have is very smooth, quiet, yields great gas mileage, & has excellent performance that a regular auto transmission. The CVT transition has unlimited gear ratios, giving it maximum power & fuel economy at any speed.

If u r looking at an older model, u should still be good since Nissan is a premium car that is reliable & safe.

l have a 1995 Nissan 240sx & it is -w/out a doubt- the best car I've ever owned.

Out of all of my friends & family, it seems as though the ones driving the Japanese cars -versus the ones who drive American or German cars- r the ones who gripe the least about maintenance, repairs, gas mileage, cost, etc.

If u go to edmunds.com, u can research model information about the Sentra, as well as specifics about the car, & reviews left by people who own or have owned them.

Yes, have had three Altimas and a Maxima. All good cars.
l still have a 2003 Altima with 70,000 miles and a 2000 Maxima with 109,000 miles and they both run great.
