Apparently, even after the merger, it will be years before you can get Sirius channels on XM units and Vice Versa.
l am buying a 2008 Nissan Xterra with the technology package. It comes standard with XM...is it possible to have the dealership swap it to a Sirius radio? Or is there a convertor type cable l can buy? Where would l buy it? Thanks!!!

Yes u can. It is especially easy now to get the dealer to do things for u since the market is so bad for them. Even if they do not have one is stock, they can order one or get one from another manufacturer. If u want they will probably buy & install one from a local stereo shop. They r willing to do almost anything to assure a deal.
