I am trying to order new tires. Right now l have Pirelli Pzero is on the rims. My tires are locked in storage about 2 hours away and l cant remember the size nor can l get in touch with the person who has the key. Been trying to for like a week now.
20s arent the biggest you can go...I've already had the rims on the car. l just need to figure out my tire size.l know what my stock size. l dont do 17s,18s or 19s. Those are too small. l ride big
Also, my car rides real smooth with the 22s. l didnt have any problems and my car didnt have to get lifted. The rims fit right up under it and there wasnt any scrubbing of the tires against the car. So if someone tells you that the rims will screw up your transmission or its gonna ride raggedy, they're lying.

what the F*** do you have 22 inch tires on your maxima for?

20 is are as big as you can go with out lifting the car.

Just so u know, ur stock tire size is 215/55R16

So ur overall tire diameter is 25.31 inches.

When changing tire sizes, it is recommended to stay within 3% of the diameter of the original tire. Any more than that & u face the risk of brake failure, bad acceleration, & damaging ur transmission & engine.

Best extra wheel sizes r +1 & +2. Some do +3, bigger than 19 inches is insane. 19 inches gives a sidewall height of 3.1 inches, so ur ride will be so rowdy, & bigger than 20 it is impossible.

Your options:

225/45R18 = +2.25% (18 inches, 7-8.5 inches rim width)
225/40R18 = -0.91% (18 inches, 7.5-9 inches rim width)
225/35R19 = -0.44% (19 inches, 7.5-9 inches rim width)

If l understand the question- u r looking for the width & profile ratio? With 22's, l would get the smallest side wall aspect possible since u r 7 inches larger than stock. A 30/35 would probably be necessary to prevent rubbing. Typically the lower this number the more the cost. As for the width- depends on how wide ur 22' wheels are. l would guess a 245-35-22, 255-30-22, 265-30-22. To be safe l would not go wider than a 265 & would not go over a 35mm aspect ratio. Since u do not know the wheel size for sure- do not buy the tires through the mail. Buy them at a store locally so if the size does not fit, u can swap them for the ones u need.
