There is no such thing as a universal intake. Anything advertised as such means ''will fit anything - if you modify it''.

l do not have a 4th gen so do not really know but usually if it is advertised as fitting your car specifically it does. The exception being a few ebay intakes (often of the ''bomz'' brand)

Save your money. It is a MAXIMA.NOT a BMW M3! It is fast enough with that crazy front wheel drive torque steer for kripes sake!

yes it should fit your car and l bought a ''universal'' intake for my honda accord from ebay and it did not fit either. even though l would suggest going with an injen intake instead you know what they say ''do it right the first time!''

Best advice for your money is get on the maxima forums and see what those folks are using and the best place to get one from and where from also.
