hey, l was wondering if it would be a good idea to put a flowmaster super 44 muffler on my 04 titan and just put a turndown after the muffler instead of putting the pipes back on? also its a dual outlet so would dual turndowns work or will it mess with performance? im new to all of this and idk what l should do. thanks
also what size inlet muffler should l get. im also thinking about getting dual pipes and making them exit right in front of the rear wheel. so can l just get hangars and JB weld them to the frame or should l borrow a welder. thanks

Nope, it will work absoulutly fine, and youll get better throttle response and more power. If the titan sounds badass as it is, this will make it sound double badass.

exhaust does not do much for performance. you will not feel the difference. You might get like 1-2 hp. people claiming to get 20-30 hp off of a muffler are the ones buying into the sales gimmicks.ask to see dyno sheets if this is the case. Best bet is to go to a reputable muffler shop in your town and get estimates. tell them what you want, ask how much. then if you are not happy with the price just go down the list of muffler shops, and compare prices.
