On my 1991 Nissan pickup My speedometer and odometer stopped working. The check engine light came on. When l checked the code it was a VSS fault. where is this snsor and what does it take to fix it?

l believe you have a speedometer cable. have to replace it. Back of transmission tail and runs to the back of the instrument cluster. If it is electrical, it plugs in in the tail of tranny to replace cable.
