Nissan Cefiro 1994 Touring edition,
My dad borrowed my car & left the back window open of the left door.
It Rained.
Now the window is not closing, Other windows open & close.
Windows are electric.
l does respond when you push the button either passager or drivers button but just makes a whindy sound.
Friends dad suggested the water may evaporate then it may work again,
So far l have found a plug on the inside door handle which lead to a screw & have unscrewed that one..

l really cant afford to pay a mechanic if l can help it & can fix this myself.
If you know a good mechanics website that explains this sort of stuff that would be good to.

l am sorry l do not have information specific to ur model but l can say that most vehicle interior door panels r attached the same way.

In general, the inside door panel on most vehicles is held in place by clips that run around the perimeter of the door panel & one or two screws at the door handle & the door lock location. From the description u provided it sounds like u already found & removed a screw at the door handle which is a good start. Look also all around the underside of the door handle & especially around the area where ur fingers go when u pull the door closed. There is a lot of force applied to the handle at this location & car makers will use either a set of clips or screws to secure the door handle.

Next examine closely the door latch release handle - that is to say the handle one would pull to open the door from the inside. It is not uncommon to see a small screw at that plate that is often concealed from view until the handle is puled outward.

Now you're ready to pull off the interior door panel. Start at a lower corner (either side) & pull or pry the interior door panel away from the metal door. u will begin to see the clips that hold the door panel on. They will be either snap clips or friction clips & both function the same way. it is simply a male/female arrangement between the clip & the hole in the metal door.

Work around the door pulling slowly from the bottom up both sides. Watch carefully & look into the cavity to ensure that there r no additional screws or wiring that needs to be unplugged. You need more finesse than brute force at this point.

When u get the door panel clips completely freed u will find that the top of the door panel fits into the top of the door with a small lip. You will need to pull up & out to remove it. Double check that you've unplugged the wiring for the power window up/down button & anything else like speakers.

l have every confidence that u will get this it is not terribly hard.
